Digital Archiving Policy

The Poornaprajna International Journal of Basic Sciences (PIJBS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content. The journal maintains digital copies of published articles, issue files, metadata, and supporting information through its online journal management system and institutional publication platform.

All published articles are made available in digital format on the journal website to ensure continuous access for readers, researchers, authors, and indexing agencies. The journal takes reasonable measures to protect published content from loss, technical failure, or accidental deletion through regular website maintenance, secure hosting practices, and backup support.

PIJBS supports long-term digital preservation by maintaining article-level metadata, downloadable PDF files, issue archives, and permanent online access wherever possible. In the event of website migration, platform upgrade, technical interruption, or change of hosting service, the journal will make necessary efforts to restore and preserve published content without compromising the academic record.

The journal may also use recognized repositories, institutional archives, indexing platforms, DOI services, and other digital preservation mechanisms, wherever applicable, to improve the durability and discoverability of published research. The objective of this policy is to ensure that published scholarly work remains accessible, citable, and preserved for future academic use.
